Service Description

We welcome The Spirit of Cacao to The Garden of Eden Studio. Cacao is a sacred plant medicine that has been shared in community for generations. A number of indigenous cultures across the world have been stewards of this plant and its heart opening spirit; we honor the traditions, rituals, and cultures that have preserved and shared their wisdom of this sacred medicine - paving The Way for us to experience the magic of Cacao today. Katrina is a student and steward of sacred plant medicines, learning both from Medicine Keepers who have humbly imparted the wisdom passed from generation to generation, as well as through extensive work with the plants themselves. It is with the utmost respect and reverence that she shares these healing modalities with the highest integrity. What is Cacao? -Cacao is the delicious fruit filled pod that is native to Central and South America. -In its pure, unprocessed form it is fermented, roasted, peeled, and ground by hand into a paste that becomes the base of our sacred elixir. -While this medicine is not psychoactive, it supports us in opening our hearts and connecting deeper to our emotional bodies. -Cacao is not only safe to consume, but rich with antioxidants and nutrients that support our mind, body, and spirit. -Like all plant medicines, your intention will guide your journey with Cacao. -Katrina ONLY works with Ceremonial Grade Cacao that has been made by the hands of those who have carried this medicine for generations. What is a Cacao Ceremony? Traditionally, Cacao Ceremonies have been curated to connect to the spirit of the plant, whose allyship supports us in opening our hearts, connecting deeper with and processing emotions, and celebrating the connection that exists between us and all that is (LOVE!). Ceremony is created to open space for all to connect to the inherent divinity within. We can feel safe to be seen, heard, and supported through our healing and through our joy! The Spirit of Cacao reminds us that our capacity to love is our biggest superpower! FOR CEREMONY You are invited to bring an offering for the alter (Flowers, Fruit, Crystals, Etc.) Feel free to bring a journal and pen. Please wear something that you feel comfortable in. It is beneficial but not required, to refrain from eating 2 hours before Ceremony (this is simply for the medicine to process more fully).

Cancellation Policy

Booking Services - It is recommended that all services be requested 24 hours in advance. When requesting an service appointment (Reiki, Intuitive Counsel, Sauna, Readings, etc.) a facilitator will contact you confirming the appointment request. Classes - It is recommended that all classes be booked 2 hours in advance. If it’s within the 2 hours you must call (309)664-6000 to sign up over the phone. To get a credit back to your account classes must be cancelled before 2 hours of the start time. Thank you for respecting your instructors time.
