Our Teachers

The Garden is a community sanctuary for learning and connecting to our authentic self and the Divine.  We believe that people need to reconnect to a deep sense of peace and get to know themselves better by understanding energy and how to properly use it to live your best life.  This is the perfect place to begin your journey to greater peace, joy, love, compassion, gratitude and ultimately personal transformation.

Kevin Chrisman

Philosophical Meditation Guide

“The practice of meditation can be an extraordinary tool for bringing meaning and depth into our day to day.

When we truly tap into what we are feeling, seeing, and experiencing, we grasp for something so profound. And when we reach, we open ourselves to receive a powerful gift; one that is wrapped carefully inside of each moment.

In these moments, we find something precious which we can only give to ourselves. We carefully unwrap, and creatively explore, what it means to be alive.

Let’s set some time aside to gently touch something beautiful.

I hope you’ll join me, so that we can awaken who we are, discover what we want, and realize why we’re here.”

Bridget Pettit

Yoga Instructor

Bridget began her yoga journey in 2010 through an intro to yoga class series. She has been practicing since and loves the improvement in her physical strength, focus and patience.

Bridget strongly believes everyone has a right to take up space, move in a way that feels good, and to love themselves as they are right now. Loving oneself in this moment is not easy but can start with releasing energy trapped in the body. Through the practice of yoga, Bridget found a vehicle for her own journey to self-love.

Her passion for Buti Yoga led Bridget to pursue the goal to deepen her yoga practice and certify to teach. Summer 2019 Bridget graduated with her 200 hour CYT from My Vinyasa Practice. Bridget invites you to join her in a playful Vinyasa style flow. She encourages each person to embrace who and where they are. She is committed to being part of a community full of diversity, acceptance, and support. Her classes will have you moving, sweating, laughing, and smiling.

Bridget a Bloomington-Normal native, works full time in Corporate America. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, furry family (two cats and a pup), reading, and trying new recipes.
